Some products give you a full experience on desktop and a stripped-down "mobile view" on the phone. You learn one flow at your desk and a different one on the shop floor. Menus don't match. Features are missing. You waste time figuring out where things are.
The better approach: one product that works the same everywhere. Same screens, same actions, same data. You might use the phone for quick invoices and stock checks and the laptop for reports and bulk edits, but you're not relearning the app. What you do on one device shows up on the other because it's the same account, same sync.
When you're choosing tools, try both mobile and desktop during the trial. If the mobile app feels like a different product, think about how much friction that adds to your daily routine.
